Motors:
To determine the required motor power, the absorbed power taken from the diagram must be multiplied by a factor of 1.15.
The curves show:
- The static pressure delivered by the fan at different airflow points under standard atmospheric conditions (dry air at 20ºC and 760 mmHg).
- The absorbed power at the fan shaft.
- The aerodynamic efficiency of the fan.
- The noise levels.
The fans are tested with free inlet and free outlet.
Dynamic pressure:
The dynamic pressure shown in the diagram refers to the total discharge area of the outlet.
When the fan is used with free discharge, an additional load loss equivalent to 1 × dynamic pressure must be added.
Speed regulation:
Fan speed control is carried out using a frequency inverter.
